An Open Conversation with People Who Feel Like tWitch // Being Real About Suicide Prevention

If you knew who tWitch was, you were probably shocked like the rest of us to hear that such a smiley and seemingly happy person committed suicide. Twitch's death scared me personally to know that there are people in my life who could be really struggling and I wouldn't know. This is me asking you to do the scary but very brave thing and ask for help when you are feeling hopeless. No one but you knows what is going on, so speak up! Seeing your family doctor, counsellor/ therapist, or psychologist are great places to start, as well as telling a trusted person that you need help. I'm passionate about this subject because I've personally experienced going from someone who loved life to someone who wanted to give up. I know the feeling of "want to give up" can happen to anyone. Watch until the end of the video for how to avoid tempting but unhealthy coping mechanisms.
